For any privacy question or request, write to office@schoolforbutlers.com. We answer within 30 days.

• Your name, or first name only if that is all you give us.
• Your email address.
• Your employer or team name, if you provide it.
• Your assessment answers.
• Your assessment result, meaning the profile and the scores behind it.
• Usage logs: pages visited, approximate time, browser type and IP address, kept for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for special category data, and we ask you not to type it into free text fields.

• To calculate and show your assessment result, and to let you return to it later. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in delivering the service you asked for.
• To send you the result and service messages about your account or your team. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To send you optional updates about the method and the product. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe and working service.
• To meet accounting and tax obligations for paid subscriptions. Legal basis: legal obligation.

You can always see your own result. A manager who has paid for a team map sees the team picture: how many people completed the assessment and how the profiles are distributed.

A manager does not get a private window into you: individual results are only linked to your name in a team view when you completed the assessment through that team invitation, which is stated to you before you start. Colleagues never see each other's answers. Our staff access personal data only when it is needed for support, security or billing, and that access is logged.

All application data is stored in the European Union, in the eu-central-1 region (Frankfurt, Germany). We use the following processors:

• Supabase, for the database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the EU.
• Lovable, for hosting the application and for sending transactional email.
• Stripe, for payments, when you buy a subscription or unlock a team map.

Where a processor may access data from outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

• Assessment answers and results: kept while your account exists, so you can compare over time.
• Accounts that stay unused: deleted after 24 months of inactivity.
• Marketing contact data: deleted when you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
• Invoices and payment records: kept for the statutory retention period under Belgian law.
• Security and usage logs: kept for 12 months.

You can delete your account yourself from your account settings. We remove your user record and your assessment results within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Have your data deleted.
• Receive your data in a portable, machine readable format.
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time.
• Ask us to restrict processing while a question about your data is being resolved.

To exercise any of these, email office@schoolforbutlers.com from the address on your account, or use the delete option in your account settings. We may ask one question to confirm it is really you.

If you believe we handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorite de protection des donnees, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be. You can also complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or ad networks, and we do not use your assessment answers to profile you for advertising.
